Shopping Report!

My love-hate relationship with Target continues! They come up with amazing sales and then have a teeny tiny, miniscule amount of actual merchandise available. Frustration!!!!! And Target isn't exactly just across the street for me. I did still score some great deals, but I continue to be superbly annoyed by this cruel game that they play with deal seekers!
Onward, I will venture out again on Saturday to see if a couple of things have been restocked and also to hit Walgreens, Fresh Market, and Macey's.
I think the moral of all this is this: Bring the coupons associated with Target's 'great advertised deals,' but be prepared for your stuff to not be in stock. Have some other reason for being in the area so that it's never a total loss! The pic above is a couple of things I found, some planned, some unplanned. The 50 load Snuggles were at Target for $3.99. I had coupons for $3 off of each. Also at Target, the My Little Ponys, $4.99 each and I had a Buy one Get one Free coupon that expires today. I found that out of most big box stores, they had the lowest price. They also had the travel sized Tide Detergents. I had 4 $1 off any size Tide coupons. Score! Great for travel or emergency kits! The Halls of course were FREE. Yet another of those great coupons that came out a few weeks ago. I have acquired 8 FREE bags of cough drops thus far! If my throat gets a tickle, I am all set!
The Arm & Hammer travel sized toothpastes were FREE with coupons. The Kotex and Stayfree were from Smith's. Paid $3 total for the pair.
I admit that I reached the top of my stress meter on this outing, but it was largely due to not going solo. Whenever possible, don't bring your kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
