Today I cooked up a huge pack of hamburger, portioned and froze it. I find this to be an amazingly convenient time and money saver.
Usually it's cheaper to buy ground beef in bulk, but if you can't use it before it expires, that makes it a bad deal. So cook and freeze it and you have the added bonus of having meat ready for your dinners that next few weeks. Just get it out to thaw in the morning.
I love things that make life easier!
